Emma Inside Out

I feel like I am scrambled eggs….. thaaaaat’s the best I can do right now.

I just want to be ANYWHERE but here. I just want to be next to ANYONE except for by myself. And I just want to feel ANYTHING other than the way I feel right now. But then again, I want to be at nowhere, feeling nothing, with no one to see me that way.

I am pretty sure I am prepared to throw myself in any direction, with pure reckless abandon, at the first chance I get, just to escape right now…. only to feel even worse afterwards….

Love’s an excuse to get hurt.

– Bright Eyes, Lover I Don’t Have to Love (via quote-book) Via Quote Book:

You erased me from your memories because you thought you were holding me back from having a full and happy life. But you made a mistake. Being with you is the only way I could have a full and happy life. You’re the girl of my dreams… and apparently, I’m the man of yours.

– 50 First Dates (via quote-book) Via Quote Book:

I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you.

– Dirty Dancing (via quote-book) Via Quote Book:

Suffering has been stronger than all other teaching, and has taught me to understand what your heart used to be. I have been bent and broken, but - I hope - into a better shape.

– Charles Dickens (via thresca) Via Quote Book:

Better not give in to it. It takes ten times as long to put yourself back together as it does to fall apart

Mockingjay, Finnick Odair (via creatingaquietmind) Via Quote Book:

Beauty is ever to the lonely mind a shadow fleeting; she is never plain. She is a visitor who leaves behind the gift of grief, the souvenir of pain.

And love? Well, if sex is sweet and death is bitter, love is both. Love will always and forever break your heart.

…You’re the crutch of a cripple
You’re the calm of a conscience
You’re the peace that I have found
When all these voices talk too loud
You are quietly reassuring me
With the hands of a healer
And the tongue of a teacher
Its your voice that I have known
To be the first one on the phone
Yeah, you ran all the lights to the hospital…
